your imperfect perfect world/ your perfect imperfect world

i think this was the central theme of murakami's hardboiled wonderland and the end of the world. it really is a very intriguing book. very imaginative. it's like someone living two parallel lives, one a sci-fi, one a fantasy.

it's really scary that we try so hard to create an imaginary world, our perfect world, that in reality, is actually so horribly wrong. and the worst thing is that we dunno we are creating this world???

but i really must admit that this is really a genius of a book. it really took a lot of imagination.

now, i want very much to read kafka on the shore.

they say murakami is kafka's successor. i have read some of kafka's writings in german, but i still can't really establish what kind of writer kafka was, but i can sort of tell u what murakami is like. and the thing is, my vague impression of kafka isnt liddat.

i feel an urge to find out more about kafka.

hey, the johan cryuff shield means nothing if we are out of the champions' league. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL. i can't believe we are out just liddat. we shouldnt be. what the hell went wrong? we even won away.

maybe without the champions' league, we can focus more on winning back the domestic title.

but really, without the champions' league, i think alot is meaningless.

not even a 3-1 win over PSV in the johann cryuff shield match.

not even a 5-0 win over waalwijk on opening day.

there are many things in life that we wish would end quickly, only to be filled with regrets on hindsight.

i have experienced this kind of situation four times.

np, cat high, soccer, nj.

i promise myself that this won't be the fifth time.
