underdogs

this world cup, in my opinion, is very open, because there arent really any favourites, especially with the decline of a number of european teams.

but even so, i doubt any of the underdogs will win it. even though i always like a fairy tale. but that team must play exciting football of course, not like greece please.

why not any team? after all, i said before, the key was gettin to the world cup, and then everyone starts at the same line. so gettin there was most crucial; everything else will be just wait and see. actual day performance, that kinda stuff. if you cant even get there, you can forget about the actual performance.

you can say that i don't totally practise what i preach. in fact, that world cup analogy was conceived for anotehr entirely different matter. so it didnt really apply to the world cup. there but not there.

anyway, i cant really explain why i don't think ivory coast, sweden, usa can win the world cup.

i jsut don't think it will happen.

but then again, you can never say for sure. if i were to watch a few games, i might change my mind. but based on teh current situation, i don't think so.

even so, there are many teams which look not bad, just won't win. teams like ivory coast, serbia, usa, ghana, south korea, japan, iran(which i believe to be the best team from asia), australia, sweden and mexico. and they rave alot about tunisia. though i must admit, i noe nothing much about them.

about japan. they have big match temperament. they play very well against the big teams, but flop against the small teams. you can't do that. you will end up like drawing all the games. their performance will peak and fall, but the result will be one straight line. you get wad i am saying?
that's their biggest problem.
