A Venpreker or a Royale. There are two football teams in Venprek, Venpreker and Royale Venprek, the former the team of the working class, the latter, the team of the rich.

The homeground of Venpreker, the Venpreker Harz, the Venpreker Heart, is located here in Bommelje. It is a massive stadium. Intimidating. You wouldn’t want to be here on matchdays. Especially those games with Royale Venprek. But then again, you would want to be, because the atmosphere is just so fantastic, so electrifying. Everywhere, it would be green and white, the colours of Venpreker. Everywhere, there would be people. You would think the whole city came over to Bommelje. At least half the city anyway. And when Royale comes to town, nobody would miss it for anything in the world.

Venprekers will laugh if you say football is bigger than religion. Football IS their religion. Venpreker Harz is sometimes referred to as Ze Het Kathedraal. The hell cathedral.”
