Bad day in Neusstak

“How’s your day?”

“Terrible.”

“What happened?”

“One of those days when everything that can go wrong goes wrong. Missing the train, botched presentations, etc.”

“So what are you doing now?”

“Having lunch…”

“Where?”

“Mmm, I am at Pietro.”

She bit into her sandwich, and picked up her drink from the pedestal of the statue of Pietro, all the time her cellphone wedged between her ear and shoulder. She finished chewing. “Hello?”

“Uh huh.”

She looked up. There he was, with a bouquet of roses.

Sometimes, everything can go wrong today. But it only means that everything will go right tomorrow.
