where's your heart?
i read something interesting about chocolates and valentines in japan recently. as you probably noe, in japan, 14feb is the day girls give guys chocs, while on 14 march, guys will reciprocate.
the price of the choc doesnt reflect the importance of the person in question. most of the chocs are giri-choco, or obligation chocolates. the feeling, or maybe you can say sincerity, lies in the effort made to either wrap the chocolate, or to find it.
that's why stuff like godiva, which is ex, but readily available, doesn't necessarily mean much.
the reason why i am talking about this is because it is cny, and u may no doubt receive alot of messages with well wishes. the fact remains that one can easily send a greeting to multiple parties at one go.
it's nothing special.
it is almost mechanical.
how much do we really give a damn to the person receiving our mass new year greeting sms?
