all i ask for is a fair trial.

for people to be objective, to give us credit where it is due.

for referees to do their jobs properly.

i don't ask for extra protection. we don't deserve anything extra. but i just want referees to touch their hearts and be honest with themselves.

it is not just about one bad tackle. it is about all the unpunished fouls we have had to endure. it is about all the ungiven penalties.

i want referees to ask themselves, was it right, was it fair?

i also ask for the FA to do what they preach. respect and fair play. tell me, is it fair when people announce before games that they are going to kick you?

when we win the title, it will be in spite of the gods of football having sold their souls, it will be in spite of the incompetence of the referees, it will be in spite of the corruption of the FA.

it will be the ultimate triumph of football.
